I purchased the X9 for my Ford Ranger PX2 XLT 3.2l Diesel and have been using it for roughly 18 months now. It really transforms the ride on HI9 setting - that's the launch mode! When towing my 3T caravan, I use the SP9 setting along with Sport Auto mode on the transmission - what a fantastic towing combo. In the city, I switch to CO9, and it’s beautifully smooth and quick off the lights, super responsive. I was so blown away that I got another X9 for my wife's Landcruiser Prado 150 3.0 Diesel - same CO9 in the city, just as beautiful and quick, really responsive. I totally recommend the Hikeit X9 model.

I got my HikeIt XS this week, and honestly, I'm not too thrilled with it. The tracking site didn’t show any updates, and the order page just kept saying it was processing.

After I put the XS on, I discovered that the anti-theft feature is pretty much useless (it seems to lock, but the throttle still works).

Most of the modes are way too jumpy to be safe for slow-speed driving. The valet mode? Yikes! It could easily lead to a valet crashing your car since the throttle is unresponsive and then suddenly jumps to full throttle. They should’ve capped that mode at 50% throttle to make it actually useful.

All in all, I’m not satisfied with how it performs on my 5.7L Ram 1500. I’m probably going to return it and just shell out a bit more cash for a tuner that offers various power settings.

I picked up an X9 for my wife's JKU, and it totally rekindled her affection for her jeep. It drives like a champ! When I got my gladiator with a 6-speed gearbox, this was one of the first upgrades I made to eliminate that sluggish feel. While it might not boost horsepower, it definitely enhances the overall driveability and fun factor of the ride.

Recently picked one up for my 2014 F250 gas engine. It's like a whole new world. I've only had it for a week, but I'm noticing a decrease in fuel usage, and it's in cruise mode. When I switch to launch mode, it can spin the tires even at part throttle. That never happened before. Definitely give it a thumbs up!

I picked up the X9 at a fantastic discount, but honestly, it’s worth every penny at full price. It really cut down on throttle lag, offers several modes with memory settings, and makes driving and towing my Pajero Sport a whole lot more fun. This unit is top-notch, looks sharp, and delivers on its promises. I highly suggest the Hikeit X9!

Fantastic company to work with. I had a bit of a hiccup with receiving the wrong unit, but they fixed it up fast (ordered a unit that wasn’t in the catalog, so no info).

Once installed, the difference is incredible.

I recently got my Hike It X9 set up and was blown away right off the bat. During a long trip, I was experimenting with the various modes when the buttons suddenly stopped responding. Once I returned home, I shot them an email and got a quick reply from Andy Truong. After exchanging a few emails where Andy guided me through some troubleshooting steps, he figured out that the display/controller was faulty and promised to send a replacement. I received the new unit in about three days. I put it in right away, and it’s been running like a champ ever since. This product is fantastic, and the customer service was truly outstanding!

I picked up a couple of these--19 RAM 5.7 1500 and a 19 Wrangler Sahara Unlimited. There's a huge difference in how the throttle reacts. The Wrangler is pretty sensitive, and I haven't quite figured that out yet since it's my wife's ride, so I don't get to mess with it much. The RAM is set up just how I like it, so I leave it as is. I commute 50 miles one way to work, passing through a few small towns and dodging the Amish, and I've managed to get as high as 26 mpg. It usually stays around 24 mpg. The throttle response is snappy and direct, no more delays. I'm really pleased with it. I'd love to get one for my 2006 Trailblazer, but it seems they don't have one for that model.

I picked up the X9's for my Cruze and Wrangler, mainly for the Cruze. Installation took just about 5 minutes. Man, it really launches you off the line! I got it to make the car less sluggish from a stop. Still tinkering with the settings. Now, the Wrangler... what a hassle! It's got an Alpine stereo, and the amp is right over the pedal and plug. It was a bit of a struggle, but I managed to get it in. I'm still adjusting the settings on that one too. It can really take off as well. Overall, I'm happy with my purchases. Thanks!

All went smoothly! Super simple to set up, no way to screw it up! Just took a few minutes, and now I'm gonna test out the various modes on my drive home after work today! I cruised to work with it set to Auto Mode and noticed a significant change in how quickly it accelerates, really responsive with hardly any pedal pressure! Awesome!

Functions great in both cars. I’ve got the X9 installed in my Toyota Tundra to help with the sensitive pedal. It does the job perfectly! I also have one in my VW Golf Alltrack, which has a turbo swap and is tuned. It’s just right for enjoyable, responsive driving every day. Highly recommend!

What an awesome product! I ordered and put this in my Chevrolet Colorado with a 6-cylinder engine, and man, what a change it has brought. The installation was super simple and it has really boosted the accelerator response. My once sluggish truck now feels like a sports car. I totally suggest this for anyone looking to get a quicker pick-up (no joke!) from a complete stop. Plus, when cruising on the highway, it makes the transmission shift faster. I’ve tested all the modes and I’m currently using Auto. I definitely recommend this to enhance your vehicle's performance for less than $200.

Definitely a good investment. It won't really speed up your car, but the throttle response gives the impression of increased speed. My 3.8L Wrangler has definitely come to life (these rides are slowpokes). Just set it to auto, let it choose the optimal setting, and enjoy the benefits! Your MPG won’t take a hit unless you’re flooring it all the time. By far the best upgrade for under $200! 5 out of 5 stars. I’d buy it again for sure.

Excellent item and support. After checking out other options and putting up with a few not-so-great, cocky rivals, I'm really pleased I chose the Hike-it. It's been in my ride for about 2-3 years now, and not a single problem has popped up. The funny part is, I barely felt any change when I had the vehicle dyno tuned.
